Guts Magazine and Bram Stoker Festival have come together to bring you a Halloween magazine chronicling the theme of 'Blood'.

The bespoke festival edition of Guts, Young Blood, is a collection of people's common experiences with blood - from menstruation to vampire fetishes.

To celebrate, we're holding a special event with readings, performances and music at the Fumbally Stables on October 31st.

Our MCs and music providers for the night are concept band Spudgun, who will take us on a journey through funk, noise, electronic music and Afrobeat.

There will be readings/writings from Seamas O''Reilly, Louise Bruton, Sarah Griffin, Tim MacGabhann, Jeanne Sutton, Ellen Tannam and Simon Ashe Browne.

A gruesome and glamorous installation comes from textile artist Dylan Kerr - sequinned blood clots, beaded veins, bedazzled severed limbs.

Our wonderful Mancunian illustrator for this issue, Sonny Ross, will have work exhibited and on sale.

Dress Code: blood red/fancy dress

Libations:Free drinks on the night/BYO

SUGGESTED DONATION of €5 on the door for future independent issues of Guts.
